Tried to give the benefit of the doubt
Ok so I REALLY tried. But I just can’t do it for one more episode. It’s so so vapid and it feels like it’s just the questions that Tully wants to talk about as a fellow influencer, NOT the questions that the audience may want to hear being discussed. Tully talks over the guest constantly, and it’s like she is unaware that this is an interview. I’m all for conversational style interviews, but this just seems like Tully wants to low key talk about herself constantly and is just using this platform to do so. A lot of the conversations irked me. Tone deaf, mediocre, VERY VERY white and privileged. I just feel like Mamamia tried to copy Shameless In Conversation episodes - since they’ve had such success - and fell flat. We get it Tully, you’re an influencer, you hate the title, but clearly you’re ok enough with it to push this narrative of influencers being vapid via this pod. I 👏🏼 WANT 👏🏼 SOME 👏🏼 DEPTH I hate to write this bc I wanted to like it more. Just some honest critique bc I feel like it really needs improvement

It is hilarious (to laugh at), but also tragic (to think this is the basis for an entire global economy, the human race is certainly...Read full review »
