“I don't particularly like Derek's advice for building traffic if you don't have any. (It's not that it's bad...there is value there for those looking to get started.) I feel that market is WAY overserved and his advice goes WAY beyond the "beginner" niche. What I LOVE is his advice when it comes to using the traffic you already have and expanding from a mid-level marketer to a Top-Tier marketer...that's the niche Derek serves well and delivers on like a champion. Derek has SERIOUS business chops when it comes to optimization...I really can't praise that enough.
I'm hoping/praying Derek doesn't sell out to the "beginners" in internet marketing and that he continues to deliver for those that have found some success. There's a tendency for some to serve the base level when it comes to IM, but Derek has the "chops" to serve a much higher level. I hope he continues to do so. In addition to whatever he's talking about...look at how he's promoted himself and his brand inside of 18 months. That's self-promotion to rival Tim Ferriss by no stretch of the imagination.
We're a mid-sized marketing company, but I wish I could quanitfy how much value Derek has brought directly to our table. I can't do that directly...but I'll just leave you with the fact that we've made $40,000+ in January, 2012...in no small part due to the fact we've learned a TON about how to monetize our reader/listener base!”Read full review »
