Technically better but lost a little of the rawness
Love the show! Always have. There are some good and bad things with the new show. Positives: 1. Sound quality: You can mostly hear everyone clearly and at consistent sound levels whereas before it was spotty most times. 2. Broadcast consistency: Podcasts are airing weekly now instead of occasional lulls between episodes. 3. Ian Scotto is doing a good job bringing an outsider's (i.e., civilian's) perspective. Certain terminology goes over our (i.e., civilian) heads and Ian will, at times, ask for clarity of terms. The program overall feels more professional. 4. More useful and insightful information per hour than any other podcast or news channel I've heard. 5. Excellent guests you won't get anyplace else. Negatives: 1. Absence of Quin: Quin had good questions and additional insight militarily that would bring out a bit more in the conversations. He had an energy that came through to this listener where you could tell we was loving what he was doing. 2. This is a stupid gripe but with the increasing professionalism of the show the overall rawness and underground feeling of the original shows have been lost. Not a big deal really - especially for new listeners - because the the show is still a unique insiders' perspective into the special operations community, military, and geopolitics. Keep up the good work guys!Read full review »

Wish Ian wouldn't interrupt guests as much, though. Give them a chance to get their point across, even if you disagree with it.Read full review »
