Waste of time.
I listened to this podcast and just got increasingly annoyed, as the contents of the entire series could have easily been condensed into a single 20 min episode. All of the episodes waste almost the entire episode rehashing what has already been discussed and then speculating on what might have happened (sadly common in podcasting these days). Other episodes waste time with long monologues from people involved where they talk about what interested them about the case and how crazy it was that they were the same age as the victim!!!! None of this moves the story along, and basically the whole series comes down to: account of woman and baby wandering down a highway in MS. Later body of woman found in on river, baby in another. Genealogical DNA reveals baby’s identity. Other body for some reason never identified, and the mother is presumed dead, although of course they talk to some people think she’s still alive. That’s it.

I’ve tried listening several times and I have to turn it off after about 5 minutes so that I don’t fall asleep. I’m really interested in this case and I feel like the team has valuable information, but the music and the host make it a droning lullaby.

Another hit for audiochuck. Just two critiques: 1.) The deep dive into the other unsolved murders episode was confusing and didn’t really add value to this story. 2.) The continuous background music was too much.
