I thought this would focus more on the truck driver and woman in plaid and (spoiler alert) she is never found and the case is indeed, not solved. Disappointed when I got to the end without knowing what happened to the mom

I gave it a solid three episode chance, but I just can’t get past the terrible audio quality and poor narration. The hosts sound like robots and it honestly takes away from the story.

Story is good, but I got distracted by the bad audio so I didn’t finish the series.

The care and attention the Solvable Team, Greg and Amanda are giving to the cause of helping Jane and John Does find their names is incredible. Thank you for doing that work! The pocdcast itself is a 3-star review for me, because of a few reasons. The phone recorded interviews are extremely...Read full review »

Good story but the narration is awful. It sounds like bots are reading the script. Audiochuck usually has such great speakers... I'm surprised.Read full review »

Approximately 45 minutes in and the information provided so far could’ve been provided in less than 10 minutes. There seems to be a lot of repetition and a lot of filler. episode, seriously? The episode was 20 minutes long and not the least bit complicated. The interviews with the people involved...Read full review »

I love this type of information in cases. I love seeing police departments using outside resources to help them. Technology has come such a long way and to have these John and Jane Doe’s identified by genealogy is amazing. Truly amazing work. Can’t wait for season 2.

Way too many characters and people to keep up with. Lots of victims and information to sort out. I like the concept but 5 episodes in and Im confused about what is going on. Sorry. I don’t have time.

this was a really good show, i hope for more seasons!!

This was a great concept for a podcast! I can’t wait to hear more. I know the more seasons that come the better the podcast. Hope they get the funding they need to help all those Jon/Jane Doe’s!

Binge worthy and extra special thanks for being void of any offensive language. 👍😎

Please start up a go fund me page for some sound equipment, and a sound engineer. Half of this sounds like people talking in the bathroom on speakerphone. Great story, horrible audio I mean at least you can fix it in ProTools!!! Sheeeesh… Hahaha!!! The sheriff actually got the whole town together...Read full review »

Loved this story. I heard an in depth podcast regarding this story and it was so much better. Where are the new seasons and episodes that were promised in the original trailer?

This story was so well told. I started listening at night to help me go to sleep. LOL I wound up binging the whole series instead. Thank you for sharing this. It was incredible

I wish you would release more episodes or start another series! This podcast is great, very respectful of victims and covers all parts of the case.

Great story too bad the quality of most of the many phone interviews makes it hard to understand.

Listen to the whole podcast- we’ll done. I think covering more cases would be great

Where are the new seasons and episodes, looks like maybe someone bit off more than they can chew? Too many podcasts with zero new stuff?

Wow. I listen to so many long form true crime podcasts that follow one case and this season 1 is one of the best I’ve heard. I got chills, I cried, I was angry and sad, but hopeful all at the same time. Thank you for bringing important cases like this to light and working to restore peoples...Read full review »

I loved this podcast but I’m so confused why they talked about the dead woman they found the same day but never connected that they may be related? Did I miss that part? What are the odds of finding two bodies in the same town on the same day?
samsmith80 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/13/22
Misleading title and disappointing progress, but good bite-sized episodes. Sound effects drowned out the voices near the endings and important plot twists.

Ok
Great content, but episodes are too short (so mostly end up being ads and “reviews”) and too many ads!
wendypeanut via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/01/22
I love the content of this podcast and how they’re quick listens. That said, please lay off the ads! We already listen to The Deck, you really do not need to tell me about it every 5 minutes or three times a show. It’s excessive.

Really nice listen to pass the time, but a little hard to keep track of if you someone who listens in increments. A swell as not great audio of interviews but overall a really interesting and entertaining show.

Brilliant reporting of this very sad story. Congratulations on making this podcast partly in a Pandemic. I hope someday the Mother is found.

Even out the levels. Clean up phone call recordings. Listen to your shoe while driving, not just in a podcast sound studio with 400$ headphones. Please. I have to adjust levels for you on the fly while I’m driving to understand what’s going on.

This podcast had me GLUED to my headphones. (I listened on headphones because some of the heavy southern accents where hard to understand). The dedication and empathy of law enforcement in this case to give Baby Jane a name and her family back after 40 years was nothing short of miraculous. I...Read full review »

Kept me on the edge of my seat; love the 20 minute episodes. The hosts broke the story up into a really logical sequence. Most of all, the folks they interviewed were so passionate about finding justice for Baby Doe, it felt like true crime done right.

Great for a long road trip! Not really ideal for every day listening, in my opinion, but wonderful if you’ve got a long trip where you’re looking to burn some time.
Cano_2416 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/09/21
The cheesy sound effects are extremely annoying! And why do some interviews sound like they were recorded in the bathroom?

I love this one. Straight and to the point with factual information minus opinions

Listened to first season “Long Bridge”. As far as I could tell, 2 missing babies and 2 missing moms. Story bounced around and the only think that was solved as far as I could tell was they used DNA of one of the babies to find an aunt. There was an initial thread about a suspicious truck driver...Read full review »

I was born and raised in Jackson County. I have never heard this story and these two hosts have done a fabulous job capturing the local feel and telling an important story. Can’t wait to see where season 2 takes us!
Nichen80 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/07/21
I listened to this podcast and just got increasingly annoyed, as the contents of the entire series could have easily been condensed into a single 20 min episode. Obviously “Phillip” didn’t really leave his wife and lied to Gwen to get her out of the state where he could get rid of his problem. Very clear cut. Where was the UHaul turned in and by who. He just got rid of Gwen and her child by murdering and disposing of them in an extremely rural area in...Read full review »
