In this episode with Erik Danielsson, frontman of Swedish black metal band Watain, we discuss the bands new album 'The Agony & Ecstasy Of Watain' which is due out April 29th on Nuclear Blast Records and can be pre ordered from various sites such as here. Along the way we talk about the albums recording, the nature and importance of transgressive art and those that walk the path outside of societies norms, the spiritual aspect of the band that is a foundational part of their work and the nature of the magickal entities known as Egregores. Though Erik was recording the audio at his end via mic, due to a technical glitch, the last 5 minutes or so are from the recording of the call from my end as his recording cut out.
