Episode 31: Poppy & Titanic Sinclair (Artists / Musicians)
Listen now
Description
This episode is a conversation with the singer and artist known as Poppy and her collaborator Titanic Sinclair. Having met the pair of them a few times now and having spent some time with them 'off duty' as it were, I feel its fair to say that this is one of the first interviews Poppy has done where she steps away from the persona that is this whole project and had an open discussion about some deeper stuff. We discuss life, the music industry, art, creativity and more. We also get into some of the wild conspiracy theories swirling around the fringes of the internet regarding them both. It was definitely something I wanted to talk about as I find that they have read the current climate of a new 'satanic panic' like that which swept the entertainment industry in the 80's, which has now been 'upgraded' to a weird modern 'Luciferian Illuminati Reptilian Panic' and as artists they are reacting to that and are playing their hand well, in a very artful, creative and knowing way. Her forthcoming album 'I Disagree' is due for release on Sumerian Records in January 2020 and preorders are live now. The title track and its accompanying video are online now.
