Episode 37: Craig Reynolds (Stray From The Path / The Downbeat Podcast / Grustler)
Listen now
Description
My guest on this one is Craig Reynolds, drummer with the politically incendiary metal band Stray From The Path and host of the fantastic podcast The Downbeat. This episode looked like it was going to be a slight departure from the usual heaviness of SWIM as Craig is a good mate and usually when we catch up we end up talking nonsense for a minute, however amongst a lot of laughing and weird tangents, we got into discussing some heavy topics that have affected Craig in recent years such as anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. The portrait of Craig that I painted is oil, acrylic, coloured pencil and ink on paper. There may well be prints coming of this one. Keep an eye on both our socials: Craig on Instagram The Downbeat on IG Craig on TWITCH I can be found here Someone Who Isn't Me on IG Please leave a nice review as stuff like that makes a difference to podcast charts and I am super desperate for validation from internet daddy.
