“Despite the constant demand for five star reviews I’m not sure any of the production are reading these comments? If they did they would see large swathes of a once dedicated audience switching off in droves.
Can you be honest with your paying audience and tell us what’s happening with this show? 15 minute extra takes, no guests and compilation shows in August? I miss the BBC show but I even miss The Take of 2023!
It used to be the must-listen show of the week. I now find it to be a bit of a chore.
The whole thing feels desperately half-hearted and done on the cheap.
If that’s the case then come clean with your listeners, explain the reasons for all the drastic cuts and stop asking for £3.49 a month when you’re not really offering them anything we can’t get for free on the Empire podcast.”
