Perfect balance
This is a really positive, stories-based approach to topics that some people label as "religious" but are really about values and beliefs that carry us through life. It is presented in a gentle and reasonable way, leaving room for children and adults to decide for themselves how much they want to participate. It reflects the national curriculum guidelines which is that worship should reflect the fact that the UK has a heritage that is in the main Christian, but it does not dismiss or criticise other faith positions. We use it at home, sitting round the table with our young children, doing a bit of artwork while listening, and it often leads us into brief discussion about important subjects. Highly recommended.Read full review »
