“Perhaps because I don’t come from a Christian background, but I’m still waiting for what that “something was wrong” was that happened. I understand kicking the dog and making up friends makes him sound completely disturbed - I would call off the wedding too! But on the other hand, the way he reacted to calling off the wedding, very understanding in my opinion, and the constant questions/concerns from her family and friends, it makes me feel like he just got dealt a really bad hand in life mixed with some mental issues.
Each episode I’m waiting to see what abuse she endures, ( I may not be there yet!) But I’m starting to think that this guy was extremely lead on, perhaps he made mistakes in the past and with this relationship, and of course he has some delusions/mental illness. But I feel bad for him at this point... again I don’t know the ending or the specifics. But I can see where it went wrong for him in life and how this girl was unfortunately wrapped up in his delusion. I’m just hoping for a success story, like he gets therapy, support and they remain friends rather than reveal all his wrongdoings to the world.”

“I binged this today while I was sick in bed. I find the subject matter interesting, because I have a family member who got involved with a narcissist just like this guy. But it goes on too long, includes a lot of stuff that should’ve been edited out, and is lacking in research and real information.”
