Simply the Best!
I've been listening to popular Calvinists for over ten years and have been waiting to find a podcast that rocks their system biblically and consistently- this is it! The "Historical Approach" (as I've come to understand it from the show) is probably the best way to organize how the writers of the Bible would have viewed the subjects often discussed on these topics and how I have naturally seen the texts for many years. Though I still find merit to Molinism as taught by Craig and others, however, I've always felt like Wesley when he said about Romans 9, "whatever it means it doesn't mean that (i.e., "what the Calvinists say"). Leighton is humble, smart, and really just honest with the texts often argued about- avoiding pitfalls of tradition and dogmatism while allowing the text to speak for itself. Calvinists should be pitied when they undervalue and naively try to write off Flowers' work. Honestly, I believe it shows their bankrupt system has hardened their hearts on the subject. For this reason I truly pray for their eyes to be opened to the glories of God's amazing grace. As a seasoned pastor, doctoral student, and debater myself; I really appreciate the style of the show and understand how much time must go into making the points so clear and easy to follow. I've received many great insights and analogies to the main texts in question. I recommend this podcast for all seekers and lovers of God's truth!Read full review »

I spent so much time studying in order to fully understand what Reformed theology in order to keep my intellectual...Read full review »

Flowers frequently flees heard passages, going to some other passage because to try to explain away the Doctrines of Grace. Regrettably, I have found his presentations intellectually lacking, if not dishonest. Tries to punch above his intellectual and exegetical weight, with disastrous results....Read full review »
