“When this show first started I was totally hooked- people call in with their stories of how they met their soulmate. The stories were amazing and I really just loved hearing the unusual and romantic ways that people met/fell in love. Then something changed (I think that there was a lack of people providing their stories??) and they’ve moved to just conversations between Jim and Dar (the married hosts). Honestly I find them tedious to listen to and I’m not interested in hearing about their relationship. I much rather hear them converse with the callers and giving their two cents that way. An hour of a married couple playfully arguing and talking about their own relationship is sooooo boring to me. Do I really need to listen to 10 minutes of arguing about the right way to put toilet paper onto the roll? If they don’t return to the old format or something where they’re not the focus anymore, I’m going to be jumping ship. They should’ve made better efforts to encourage friendship soulmates, or interview more authors, or tap into Jim's paranormal podcast background and get that Angels/Soulmate author back on the show etc. An hour listening to “an old married couple” gets real boring real fast. Download for the first 10 or so episodes, peace out when the format changes.”Read full review »
