Great studio listening
This may sound funny but I find listening to other artists talk about themselves both intriguing & boring. Intriguing because I learn about how folks go about making artwork & the thoughts humming around that & some everyday facts about their lives. Boring because sometimes they’re not unlike me or they discuss the more mundane. I like to listen when I’m doing busy work in the studio. Brian’s voice is gentle & easy to listen to & he has an experienced & often poetic take on things. An enjoyable escape.

More reviews of Sound and Vision
The interviews conducted are sharp and interesting, and I always love hearing the diverse views on how art is made and what it means. If you enjoy art and music this is a great podcast to put on while you work. I like to listen to it during long car rides.

Brian Alfred brings us into the artist's studio for fantastic one on one conversations. The discussions are thoughtful and informative, and Alfred creates a nice causal rapport with his guests. Look forward to listening to more of the Sound and Vision podcasts.Read full review »

The Cindy hi hye kim was beyond annoying... scary how a vocabulary of ya can carry you through an interview.
