“This may sound funny but I find listening to other artists talk about themselves both intriguing & boring. Intriguing because I learn about how folks go about making artwork & the thoughts humming around that & some everyday facts about their lives. Boring because sometimes they’re not unlike me or they discuss the more mundane. I like to listen when I’m doing busy work in the studio. Brian’s voice is gentle & easy to listen to & he has an experienced & often poetic take on things. An enjoyable escape.”
