New favorite podcast
My friend recommended this podcast to me, and I totally owe her flowers or dinner or a present now because this podcast is AMAZING. It took just one episode for me to think, Oh, this is my jam. Something I really like about the show is that it’s clear the hosts put a wild amount of research into each episode, but it doesn’t sound like they are reading a book report. They have just the right combination of narrative and conversation. Also, the hosts have really beautiful speaking voices, which makes it even more enjoyable. The episode topics they pick are really, really good. They make me think differently about what I know. The Tony Robbins episode and the Royal family episode are my favorites. I hope they do an episode on Alcoholics Anonymous! (It is possible to become and stay sober without joining a cult!)

Casual discussions that make you rethink the familiar… I love how the conversations are punctuated by such a rich relationship to language and human behavior.

Man I was excited to get into this show. But then you had to isolate half of the country with your political comments. You know what’s a cult? Thinking you’re more intelligent and better than 50% of America.
