The gold standard of RPG podcasts
It all really came together with this audio drama. A gripping story and well acted characters (Isaac as the brutally determined Abel Crow, Marshall as the tortured Thaddeus, Alex as the family man Ellis, Camron as the flamboyant Harper, and Cameron as Crowe-by-Choice "Lucky") work well with the randomness of the die roll and the draw of the card. Caleb runs a tight ship and edits this actual play with a solid hand, creating something much more akin to a radio drama of old than what most people cultivate with an "actual play" RPG session, where your brain tells you you're a character in the room with friends playing an RPG. With SLC, your brain tells you you're in a gritty Western film. It's immersive, it's compelling, and it just gets better.Read full review »
