This has become one of my favorite podcasts of 2019
I’m writing this review to say a huge thanks to Matthew and Elysha. I believe in giving back when something is really good! I listen (or have) to podcasts like “How I Built This," "Radio Lab," Freakonomics," "The TED Radio Hour," "Wait, Wait..." "Revisionist History”, etc...and this year, “Speak Up" has dominated my driving time. Listening to great stories is fun and thought provoking. Speak Up takes remarkable stories and packs in great insights about what makes a good listen. Hosts, Matt and Elysha, have a great way of inviting you into their family relationships and friendships while teaching the art of being authentic and real. They teach how to capture life on a daily basis and how to take some of life's highlights/lowlights and share them effectively with others. BTW, I also recommend Matthew's book, "Storyworthy." Really enjoyable (even if you're not into telling stories). Matthew and Elysha wrap the podcast in a dialogue, offering simple and pragmatic thoughts on life. I like their weekly "recommendation" they provide at the end. Speak Up has certainly made my life a richer. Thanks!Read full review »
