“I enjoy listening to the spectator weekly podcast but this week I happened to be on a long coach journey and because of this the sound quality was more of an issue than usual with certain contributors in particular Peter Hitchens , about 80% of what he was saying was indecipherable due to poor diction ( he has a tendency to swallow his words at times ) and perhaps not sitting close enough to a microphone and poor engineering of the sound quality. I could hear everyone else in this podcast but I had similar problems with Damian Barr the following week . It’s really off putting and the answer is not to have it played at full volume because that distorts the speech of other contributors and could contribute to hearing loss .”

“I like that I don’t need to read the magazine to be able to engage with the topics.
I wish more time was given to the first topic on the podcast which is normally the leading article in the magazine.
I could read the magazine but when your driving a lot, it’s rather diffcult.
