“When Marvel is working its hardest to pretend public opinion is in favor of whatever new terrible idea they have, its very therapeutic to find a place where knowledgable Spidey enthusiasts introduce rational thought to the discussion. This podcast covers just about everything. Current Spidey products, classic story analysis, publication history, and even news stories where a kid happens to be wearing a Spider-man shirt. Just about the only thing the podcast needs is a regular segment explaining how Stegron would effortlessly defeat popular Marvel heroes (i.e. Iron Man).
I've seen others complain about them being negative about the current direction of the books. I've only ever seen this be the case when the writing on the individual issues is especially poor. I've also seen a complaint about the political views of the panelists. I can only imagine this being a problem for listeners if those listeners are outrageously intolerant of opposing views.
