“At times this can be a really fun podcast. The host is enthusiastic, professional and truly cares for the subject matter.
His usual group of panelists offer a variety of interesting opinions. Though the reviews claiming they are often critical are not misplaced, the they do support their views with evidence or at least a convincing argument. The panel review the recent issues of Amazing Spider-man and discuss interesting news stories.
Unfortunately guest panelist George always ruins my enjoyment.He seems to have lost all enjoyment for the hobby and only reads the books when he 'has to'. His reviews are usually unsupported by evidence, claiming it's 'stupid because it stupid'. Regardless of the news story or comic he will dismiss it as a fail or money making scheme by the comic company in discussion.
However I would recommend this podcast 9/10 times as they offer entertaining features and discuss a variety of topics in a fun way.”Read full review »
