“This is a brilliant podcast and the panelists have wonderful chemistry!
Any podcast with George is a treat, his passion for the character always comes across!
JR's theories and spider knowledge is incredible and Brads hands off approach to hosting allows for some great laughs.
A common complaint about the show is that the guests are too negative. However I find that, for the most part, the panelists manage to support their opinions and there's nothing wrong with having a contrary opinion.
That said however it can at times feel like the panelists are complaining for the sake of complaining. For example JR criticising the art of a book or complaining about a character (Ms. Marvel) that he's clearly not done any research in to feels disingenuous, especially when normally the panelists put an incredible amount of effort into supporting their opinions.
