“I reluctantly entered the world of podcasts a few months back and shortly discovered the Spider-man Crawlspace shortly thereafter, and it quickly became my favorite. I've spent the last few months catching up from the first episode, scrounging for free time to get up to date. I finally got there. It's been a long road, but this group of die-hard Spidey fans have certainly made it an enjoyable one. Let's start with our host, Mr. Brad Douglas. I value his passion and loyalty for the character and get a kick out the balance he maintains among his panel between comedy and professionalism. Too much of either can be problematic for a themed podcast, but he manages to tow the line perfectly. Great job, Brad. I love JR's dry sense of humor and seemingly endless amount of knowledge on the subject. I wonder, does his wife listen to this show, and if so, how many nights does he spend on the couch as a result? George is hysterical. He manages to crack me up each episode with his wit and banter, and his ability to drive the rest of the panel down the road he's taking. Bertone's (sorry if I mispelled that) passion and uplifting nature balances JR and George's hesitance toward the current direction of the comics. I miss Stella and was sad to hear about Kevin leaving the show, who (no offense to the rest of you) was my favorite contributor to the panel. A gifted writer (great job on the comic, Kevin) who brought the POV of a writer to his reviews, which I found very interesting and usually was in agreement with both his reviews and his recommendations. You'll be missed, Kevin. All in all, great job on the show. Absolutely love the content from the reviews to the Spidey-news to the MB conversations and debates. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I've actually joined the message board (Gobby1981), which is a first for me. Love it and will continue to be a devoted fan for years to come!”Read full review »
