Soul-soothing relatability
If there was anything I needed to drown out the noise of society, THIS is it! I love Lucy’s relatable and empowering takes on being single and child free. Not only that, but the interesting perspectives shared by her guests. The Saturday minisodes are great to dip in and out of, while the longer episodes are the perfect accompaniment to my commute, hair curling routine or cleaning my BEAUTIFUL flat. Lucy’s contentment towards her Spinster status comes across as genuine, and mirrors my own. Her honest vulnerability should also not be overlooked, and on the days I feel like no one ‘gets’ it, I know Lucy does. I feel she’s become a friend from afar. I find the term ‘Spinster’ hilarious, and love the way Lucy just owns it. A Badass Spinsta, if you will! I wish for all women in our position to achieve similar levels of contentment, and this podcast is the perfect starting point. Thank you for creating it!

It’s a pressured at the moment to have children so it’s nice to hear stories of happy people who haven’t had them

Found this podcast through Lucy’s interview w/ Shani Silver. Love having another like minded, positive, child free voice!

Vacuous and boring - I was looking for intelligent feminism - found this woman unlistenable - can’t say she is an advert for a reimagining of female power.
