The Perth Wildcats are leading the NBL Grand Final series 1-0 after defeating Melbourne United 81-71 last night. "I think what we showed last night is that we're pretty composed at the moment and we're playing good basketball," Wildcats' centre Tom Jervis told 6PR's Sportsworld.

Former Fremantle Best and Fairest, Lachie Neale has made the switch to Brisbane and says his best is yet to come.  "I feel like my best is ahead of me, I haven't had a full pre season in about three or four years and I haven't missed a session this year so my body's feeling great. The 2018/19 season of the BBL was extended to 59 games, with the two Melbourne teams playing in the final mid February.
