Acaster undercover
Superb, simply Superb. With Pat Springleaf on the case things are bound to go wrong.

Was unsure after the first episode but I think that’s down to it being completely unique with it being a podcast drama show. Fully hooked now & can’t wait to see where they go with it. This is The Archers of Podcasts.

I love James Acaster’s work and sense of humor but the “acting” on this is not credible and that makes the story very flat. I think I understand the concept and had they put more effort into truly acting the scenes it could have been a success.

Whilst I enjoy many of the cast on this scripted comedy. A lot of the jokes fall flat. Once you get through the novelty of James’ alter ego, it doesn’t feel like it goes anywhere. It’s more of a sketch show following a character rather than a serialised true crime spoof.
