“I love James Acaster’s work and sense of humor but the “acting” on this is not credible and that makes the story very flat. I think I understand the concept and had they put more effort into truly acting the scenes it could have been a success.”

“Whilst I enjoy many of the cast on this scripted comedy. A lot of the jokes fall flat. Once you get through the novelty of James’ alter ego, it doesn’t feel like it goes anywhere. It’s more of a sketch show following a character rather than a serialised true crime spoof.”
