I love this. If you like surreal things, silly things, and James Acaster then get on this. The people who feel the need to leave negative reviews obviously just weren’t expecting a comedy crime drama and feel compelled to tell the world they don’t like comedy crime dramas. Weird.

Whilst I enjoy many of the cast on this scripted comedy. A lot of the jokes fall flat. Once you get through the novelty of James’ alter ego, it doesn’t feel like it goes anywhere. It’s more of a sketch show following a character rather than a serialised true crime spoof.
