“This is a cute premise but it’s not as good as Acaster’s original standup but as Springleaf. The casting seems like he called in favors from friends, but some of the voice acting seems stilted. Other regulars are a little mush-mouthed and wouldn’t have made it past professional casting. The studio guest thing is over the top and distracting. TL;DR: this would be better with professional producers forcing edits, not as a passion project.”
