Let’s be honest - not good
While I didn’t contribute to the kickstarter (which I’m pretty glad of now), I was looking forward to this. Unfortunately, it’s really not good. It feels like a bunch of comedians in a room entertaining themselves with in-jokes you have no context for rather than making something that is funny and makes sense for others. It suffers a lot from almost everyone sounding very wooden while they read from the script. I was confused throughout as to what the plot was or who was who. James is great when it comes to standup and off-the-cuff comedy on panel shows, and is legendary at telling funny true stories (e.g., Classic Scrapes and WILTY), but I just don’t think writing and acting are his talents.
