From a substance point of view, this is a very worthwhile – almost addicting – podcast. Its main format is dialog or conversation, not scripted exposition, and its “guests” invariably have first-hand knowledge of their subjec, often plugging a book, so they're really up to speed. Unfortunately, the “moderators” have the Washington tendencies; to speechify, rather than just ask good questions; to showboat a little about how much they know; and (which is a non-Washington thing) almost apologize for some questions and give the interviewee permission to not answer. These episodes, which are good, would be improved if the hosts just got out of their guests’ way.Read full review »
