“Many episodes are quite informative and interesting, though the sound quality seems to vary a good deal and it could use a technical upgrade in some respects. In the last 18 months I have noticed that the presentations have taken on a distinct agenda that is designed to protect or apologize for the performance of Agency personnel who have clearly failed in their duty or who simply have a political story to tell that justifies their own point of view. A blind housewife from Kansas would have been able to see through Aldrich Ames months if not years before he was actually caught, but the podcasts devoted to his capture at this site make it appear that the CIA and FBI personnel who finally got around to arresting the man performed with great skill and depth of insight, when in fact they had missed bolder-sized clues for years prior. This would be a more valuable production if it was not so devoted to apologizing for the incompetence of "dedicated" and "hardworking" Federal employees. The history of the US involvement in operations of a dark nature, is fascinating it it remains a necessary arm for the good of us all. That said, this podcast has taken on a distinct political flavor as well as an uncritical review of the history of the CIA, by former CIA employees. Some episodes are outstanding, but all too often the stories with which I am familiar in advance (30 years in DC) turn out to be whitewashes or lacking in complete presentation of evidence.”Read full review »

“This podcast used to be great but now all it is is a outlet for Nazis and commuists who have infiltrated our government and will soon take over the United Nations.”
