Shillcast (at times)
Fine, informative, engaging -- but beholden to a willful naïveté where the subject or guest concerns more contemporary events (esp. concerning Russia and former Warsaw Pact countries). Disavow it (playing Devil's Advocate more would suffice) and these episodes can have the same didactic value in taking history's examples and avoiding repetition of errors that the Cold War/MAD ones do. Glosses of globalism are as instructive and useful as cable news.Read full review »
