v likeable and warm culture show
srsly is a weekly culture podcast, i've listened to dozens of these but this one is the one i look forward to most each week. the format is not revolutionary and the two hosts, anna and caroline, are also also quite typical in their perspective and manner of many twenty something white women graduates living in london. yet what distinguishes this one is the warm friendship between the two hosts, how casually articulate they are, and how perceptive and illuminating they can be while rarely disagreeing with eachother. it also nicely straddles the atlantic in its topic choice - it is concious of the big american cultural trends without ever neglecting the merits of home grown entertainment attempting to speak to a specifically british experience - its rare to find a show that gets this balance right. i also especially love that they often find time to talk about books. a real pleasure.Read full review »

More reviews of SRSLY
...I listened to it all in one weekend, and that's because it's excellent! Thoughtful discussions and critiques of pop culture, both things I know and love (Broad City, yass) and lots I've been introduced to (and also subsequently love). Hat tip to Call Your Girlfriend for setting us up.

love everything about this podcast. only regret is that a lot of the things they talk about aren't available in the US : ( also, you should do video so we can see you and some clips ; )

I've never been very good at sticking with podcasts - usually I'll be passionate about something for a few months before my interest wanes and I latch on to something new. But I never miss an episode of SRSLY....Read full review »
