Tom Waits sounds like the ice cream truck from Twisted Metal started a Bob Dylan cover band etc.
I heard about this on You Up w/ Nikki Glaser but had never listened to a podcast in my life, however I loved Tom Thakkar on You Up so much that I decided I would give it a shot. I’m on day 3 now with about 12 episodes down and am completely addicted. This is the sort of “Pod” that will convince you the Barenaked Ladies aren’t the worst band in the world. You’ll be listening to Tom Waits first album with your morning coffee thinking “this isn’t so bad” even though you’ve tried 7 times before to get into him. I found out that Chumbawamba is actually kind of interesting. I’ve said “wow” out loud and I’ve cried from extreme nostalgia AND from laughing so hard. I think I’m a piss freak. I’m gonna back the Toms on Patreon but not because I want to support them. I’m doing it because I’m selfish and NEED these dudes to keep doing this stuff ❤️ Three Doors Down are actually more boring than I thought they were. P.S. If no one has done a theme song for the “Facebook” segment yet, I’m interested Love you guys

I'm a grad student and I just think this is one of the best podcasts to just smoke and unwind to. Always a good listen.Read full review »

This podcast can holler at me. So chuckle inducing. Great concept. Perfect pick me up after hours of gritty true crime/murder pods.
