Rich Dad - Poor Dad - Who-Has-The-Risk-Dad
I cannot tell you how disappointed I was to learn that Mr. Kiyoaki's "edge" is using other people's money and intentional tax losses to generate an "infinite" return. It is nearly impossible for me to align that theory of investing with the other work he does in the realm of financial education. I simply don't believe that he, or anyone else, for that matter, has found a way to make a totally risk-free return. There is no debt that doesn't carry a risk, so if Mr. Kiyosaki is claiming no risk while using 100% debt to acquire his properties, I would be very interested in how he transfers that risk to others and what *their* return on that risk turns out to be. There is no free lunch. That having been said, I still rate the podcast highly because the information is presented is valuable, regardless of whether I agree with it. A view contrary to one I currently hold can be even more valuable than one affirming my current view because it helps sharpen my thinking.Read full review »
