Every good Star Trek series has a Spock, Data, Doctor, etc. who makes the fans reflect upon what it truly means to be human. In Star Trek: Outpost, surprisingly, this is the Captain of Deep Space 3...a human. With 74 episodes under their belts, you come to care about the characters rather quickly. The writing is superb.
