“I haven't found too many Star Trek podcasts that grab me & don't let me go after listening to one episode. Not only did TrekCast do this, but it made me begging for more. The two hosts know about 90% of their Trek. (Let's face it, the Universe of Trek is so large that the odds of someone knowing everything are as impossible as me getting a job as a Dabo girl at Quarks.) What they don't know they either research. Unlike most Trek podcasters I have listened to, the hosts thrive off the listeners feedback. They are so into Trek they do something that is nearly impossible & devote two episodes a week to their favorite topics. Another factor to add in their favor is their guests. They have had Trek novelists, actors & a few representatives of the Star Trek: Experience show up on the podcast. The Experience actors are always the most interesting to listen to. I never got the chance to go to Vegas to see this wonderful creation, but listening to both David, Darren, Alicia & Jerad make me excited to see it when it re-opens. Their excitement is contagious.
