This is my new favourite podcast
I saw Steve Richards speak at the Reform Club a couple of years ago and he was great. I’ve also started reading his book on the Prime Ministers, which is excellent. I really enjoy this podcast, particularly his style. It’s conversational with the audience and feels like a club. My favourite part is his answers to audience questions, great questions and answers which are insightful and thought provoking - as in I often pause the podcast after his answer and think it through against my original view (and political memories). It’s the laser insight I find most enjoyable and entertaining. Most importantly he often answers with a perspective I had missed before. Thoroughly recommend this show.

Steve is by far the best political commentator out there and one of the very few I search out on Twitter, podcasts and in print. His Rock n Roll politics shows from his home supported by the Kings Theatre have been one of the joys of the so called Lockdown
