Rock n Roll is the right term
This podcast is exactly what it says it is: rock and roll! Like a good rock ‘n’ roll song, it’s got a beat, a rhythm. It’s got good tunes, political ideas that you want to hum and that are memorable. It pays homage to the past, because Steve understands British politics like few others. But it also looks to the future, drawing on Steve’s experience of writing about politics, and talking to politicians, to attempt to map out what might be happening next. Moving on from the music metaphor, this podcast is also brilliant at getting under the skin of recent political developments, or slowly growing political trends. It’s also highly interactive, and Steve makes a genuine attempt at answering peoples questions in an engaging way. It’s witty. What’s not to like!

A great podcast which is always worth a listen, for the expert insight and excellent impressions of leaders present and past. Its recently become more regularly cast which was the only criticism. The recent live shows have been great.

This podcast is a fantastic way to keep up with all things politics. Steve manages analyse and make sense of current themes in a way that provides depth, whilst being accessible. I also strongly recommend his books.
