Stellar reporting, excellent historical perspective
I’ve been a fan of Connie Walker’s reporting since her days at Street Cents and CBC Saskatchewan. I cannot recommend this series enough, it paints a picture of the risks of being female and Indigenous in North America through a historical lens. We all have so much to learn. If you’re looking for true crime, keep searching: this is not true crime, it’s a lesson in the long term effects of colonialism and systemic racism. Definitely don’t miss her “Missing and murdered” podcast. Thank you so much for your work Connie, we need your voice.

Listening has given me insight into my own biases and what it can mean...Read full review »
