My kind of podcast
Prior to finding this podcast, I had developed my own obsession on my daily walk of attempting to fill in two holes that had appeared in the gravel path with loose stones using only my feet to kick / shepherd the stones into the holes. I only allow myself one stone per hole per day. I have recently discovered another hole in some soil at the side of the path that I suspect was made by a fallen tree - I’ve chosen to go down the organic route and deposit one twig into this hole every day (using hands). It’s quite a substantial hole but early results are looking promising. I’m now looking for further opportunities for smoothing the terrain of my local park by filling in any concave features that present themselves. I may consider smoothing down convex features if the material lends itself to easy distribution by kicking or using a sweeping motion with the feet.

I won’t normally listen to stone removal podcasts, but Richard Herring has bought a certain je ne sais quoi to the genre. From the first minute it was obvious this is the only stone removal podcast you need to listen toEditWatch this pageRead in another language EditWatch this pageRead in...Read full review »
