Please God let me outlive Richard Herring by at least one week.
Back in 1996 when my dad died I remember thinking to myself (among quite a lot of other things): ‘Wow, he’s never going to know how it all pans out in Eastenders’. Now I just hope and pray that I somehow outlive Richard Herring. The thought of spending the next 50 years or so listening to this podcast has reaffirmed my love of life. The thought of not hearing its conclusion is seriously making me wonder why I’ve spent the last 48 years eating so much cheese.

My only concern with this podcast, is that when, in twenty years time, Richard Herring is found lying dead in that field, who is going to ensure that his final podcast is broadcast to a grieving world, giving him a legendary Tommy Cooper-like immortality?

There are few podcasts more profoundly powerful and undoubtedly important than this groundbreaking gem. Thank you Richard for finally bringing us who gaze upon the stones of our own existence, something to finally help us find a way to clear our troubled minds.
