Cor blimey! Stone the crows! A better stone-clearing podcast, I don’t know!
I thought I knew everything there is to know about the art of stone clearing (and it *is* an art), but Richard Herring has opened my eyes and blown my mind with this remarkable and insightful podcast. The tone is conversational, as Herring - an ambitious and dedicated stone clearer - treats us to informative nuggets (pebbles, if you will) of truths into the practice, purpose and history of stone clearing. And this is only the introductory episode. Like the iceberg - or shark-fin - stone that Richard finds in this episode, there is plenty to the story and art of stone that lies beneath the surface... we have had but a tantalising glimpse and I, for one, can’t wait to get dug in deep... (and I will *not* be wearing gloves to do the digging!!) Informative, engaging and occasionally even amusing, this is a must for old-hands and novice stone clearers alike
