No stone left unturned
Finally. After a pathetic attempt by Adam Buxton where minimal efforts were made when walking his dog and usually ended up him interviewing someone somewhere completely elsewhere, Herring says what we’re all thinking. Which is basically that stone clearing isn’t for the faint hearted, the weak finger or the mentally stable. Fascinating info, handy tips and rock solid research means this “Pod” is one not to be missed. My only hope is it doesn’t go down the same route as his snookerist podcast which started as a serious self-playing snooker podcast but later episodes occasionally made me laugh.

More reviews of Stone Clearing With Richard Herring
If podcasts had existed in Hadrian’s time I have no doubt he to would have been podcasting about his wall building experience. We can only hope that future generations of English Heritage members care for Herring’s Wall as much as the current generation does for Hadrian’s.

Never have I been more inspired to walk around a field a pick up stones. Good work Richard, we can’t wait for episode 2.
