“I have tried to enjoy listening to a few of these podcasts because there have been some excellent guests. Cheryl’s constant interruptions, however, are really frustrating. Sometimes it seems she hasn’t been listening to her interview subject as she asks questions about things they have already mentioned. She also really seems to just want to talk about herself much of the time. Listen to how many times she says “I” at the start of the interview with Richard de Crespigny, for example!
It would be terrific if the subjects were allowed to finish their trains of thought before the next question is fired at them. These are intelligent, erudite people. Cheryl should place more trust in them and allow them space.”
