“Olly Richards has done it again! This podcast is fantastic.
I have enjoyed learning Spanish using Olly’s “Short Stories in Spanish” volume one book that I discovered at my local library. I have found that reading is definitely the best way to learn a new language. Within a short time, I’ve been progressing in my comprehension of written Spanish.
However, one area that I’ve found challenging for myself is listening to native speakers. For me, I have a ways to go in my listening comprehension.
The beauty of this podcast is that I get to practice both! First, I can listen to the native speaker tell a short story; then I get to both read the transcript myself, as well as, follow again using the transcript while listening.

“There are so many places to learn individual vocabulary and specific phrases, but until recently it was difficult to find stories or listening/comprehension and learning via stories.
