“There are so many places to learn individual vocabulary and specific phrases, but until recently it was difficult to find stories or listening/comprehension and learning via stories. You could sit and watch youtube, but that is not 100 possible all the time. What's great about this podcast and a similar one I'm aware of is that you can see the transcript, you can hear the stories and you can repeat them over as much as you like. I actively listen always, but after I'm sure I know what's going on, I can repeat them in my car or while doing dishes, and every time it helps get the rhythm and the flow of conversation in my head. It also doesn't require me to sit at the computer staring, which is a big plus. These methods do work. I only wish I'd found them before I turned 50!”Read full review »
