So woke you won’t be able to fall asleep after listening to this garbage. Just tell the story, not your personal trauma. By the way, Trump won. Do that episode.

Daisy, leaves much to be desired for a story teller. She constantly inserts political commentary, her progressive ideologies, and often victim shaming or belittling the listener for having any views outside her narrow mind. Seems like she’s getting worse with the pandering too. It’s become my...Read full review »

How does this podcast only have a 4* average? Thank you, Daisy. I love your humor and honesty. Nolite te bastardes carborundum.

This is consistently my favorite podcast every week. Daisy is engaging and hilarious and her takes are researched and skeptical enough that I feel like I’m having a conversation with a friend and not just listening to an urban legend. I love that these podcasts are scripted but not entirely...Read full review »

I was excited about the idea of this podcast until actually listening to it for a while. They take stories that have already been done to death by other podcasts and present them as if they’re the first ever to tell them. It’s like they just plagiarized Lore and Generation Why but with dumber and...Read full review »

The tone was too bouncy and upbeat. She fearmongered about parents giving their children sugar the entire time which you could immediately tell, she doesn’t have kids or, she does but is crunchy and restricts her kids of food so I immediately dismissed her judgemental tone. Also, new flash Daisy:...Read full review »

Love the stories but host is way too judgmental

I thought I was going to listen to a podcast on Hitler. That’s what YOU promoted the podcast to to be. Even stated you needed an extra week to get things right. It was about Trump. You said Trump WAY more than Hitler. Who’s misleading the public now? Not much different from Hitler or Trump.

I love Daisy's fun way of telling these interesting stories. It's a pleasure to listen. In response to some upsetting reviews that I’ve seen, I want to say that I’m a man and I believe that we men don’t need to fear women who have thoughts and opinions. We all can have those ; )Read full review »

The subjects are always fascinating. Daisy Egan always presents factual content in an engaging way, with a perfectly crafted but never overdone side of snark. Literally never a dull episode and definitely one of the top podcasters today. Miles ahead of the supposed “top” shows.

Wow just wow Really one sided show If you can’t be objective on this then what’s the rest of the episodes like Not worth my time to listen to hype

She had me until she called free speech “fascism”. Obviously she needs to research what actual fascism means, and if she doesn’t know those basics I can’t trust the quality of research on her show.

Great story telling. The respect given to victims while telling their stories is a refreshing spin in the true crime type podcasts. Thanks, Bob!

I know about McDonald’s already, the frequency of ads far exceeds the quality of the podcast. Lots of better content out there, unsubscribed forever

Don’t care about your poorly informed opinions, or abhorrent intentional political misrepresentations.

I’ve been an avid listener of this podcast since the very beginning and always appreciated the brilliant storytelling and entertaining content that initially drew me in. I really enjoy this podcast and look forward to it every week. The stories are interesting and Daisy Eagan is delightfully entertaining. The Hitler episode was well researched and fascinating. I’ve shared it. Thank you!

A lot of people are complaining about the hitler/trump episode but I don’t understand why they’re upset. Trumps actual quotes were used so where’s the problem here. Are we all supposed to just pretend he doesn’t say what he says?

Always the first podcast I listen to as on Thursday mornings, the day that they are released!

So glad you took time to dive into Trump’s fascist rhetoric. It’s much needed right now, and mainstream media is doing a horrible job of calling out him and Vance on it. Now that’s scary!

Thank you for this. I’ve been telling people especially my spouse about the brown shirts and Trump. I can’t describe the feeling when I see a new episode. It takes priority over others. It was great in the first season then got a little political but still gave me my Strange and Unexplained. Now it’s just woke garbage. Not what it set out to be. Sadly I’m done.
WickedBeautie via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/07/24
It was cool until the stupid unnecessary episode about how Trump and Hitler are the same. The strange and unexplained stories were cool but I’m gone now. That was just stupid. I wish podcasts not about politics would stop making episodes about politics.

Well, I was a huge fan and even turned several people onto the podcast. I originally had written a 5 star review but now……you had to become political. I used to love this show. Well researched and interesting topics, but lately it’s all political and religious jabs. Imagining the cult members with dried up testosterone, less melanin and even less education, completely enraged and beating up their sister wives after listening to the episode on the orange scr01um of a p*g is nothing less than orgasmic pleasure.
