Wonderful people of the curse of politics podcast. Murray Sinclair passed away last week. It would be fantastic if you could share some of the members memories of either working with him or knowing him personally. Best, SHR

I’m pretty sure they meant it as “we won’t go backwards” and let PP roll back rights etc on health care etc. Great podcast.

Right, left or centre this is hand’s down the Hy’s Steakhouse of Canadian Political Podcasts, except of the decor was less Hy’s and more along the lines of a 1970’s era Ponderosa Steakhouse,! Either way your political appetite will be satiated, so bring your stretchy pants and pour yourself a...Read full review »

I don't mean to come across as cruel. I'm sure she's a perfectly lovely person, but oh my god, she comes close to thinking every episode. Her brand of NDP partisanship is less sophisticated and thus far more noticeable than Scott or Kory's respective flag-waving. That's not...Read full review »

That was an old chestnut you pulled out this week! Can vividly recall that was lampooned in Frank Magazine (one of those tv screen two pagers). Which brings me to suggest a Frank-themed episode might be fun. I’m sure there are tons of stories involving that periodical from the perspective of...Read full review »

Here’s what I wrote 6-9 months ago: (I’ve been an avid listener of this pod for years, and have consistently enjoyed the insights provided, as well as the humour and candour. So it really pains me to say this, but for the past few weeks and months, I find the pod getting stale. I don’t know how...Read full review »

Late 40s dad here. GenX cynical about politics but your show is a must listen for me every week. I cook dinner, have a beer and listen- makes my Monday night.

Refreshing, clear, insightful and fun. Finally, a group that takes the veneer off Canadian politics and cuts too the cortex.

After listening for a few months, Scott’s mouth has become extremely untenable. Maybe the show’s sponsors might want to rethink if this pairs well with their brands.

Enjoyable podcast but man.. Kory really needs to touch some grass. Way out of touch when it comes to American politics and much to sympathetic to Trump and the GOP, blaming the ‘radical left’ for the right’s extremism etc… definitely the weak link on the pod these past few months.

Overall great podcast that is fun to listen to. I just wish it was less ‘old white man’ on a number of topics (pronouns, trans anything, etc). With the 30-second skip in hand, it’s my have political podcast. Or maybe I should just skip the Jordan-less episodes.

Love your show but would really appreciate some details in the episode descriptions. I’m relatively new to this podcast so I’d like to go back and listen to some of them but I’d like more show info to help me decide which ones might interest me. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

This dynamic team of patriots bring insight, story telling and valuable advice to weekly events. I can’t help but think Canadians would be more trusting and engaged in Canadian...Read full review »

Can’t grit my teeth and listen to Kory any more. Quoting and approving of JD Vance blaming Trump assassination attempt on Democratic rhetoric is just too much. We know he is not stupid so that just leaves crass, cynical and opportunistic like the rest of his ilk including PP and JD. A step too...Read full review »

Well he doesn’t, that much is obvious As poll after poll comes out with the Liberals sliding into third party status. “Welcome to Stornoway, Monsieur Blanchet!”, It’s been interesting to listen to Reid & Herle’s growing frustration with the PMO/Liberal party’s lack of survival awareness....Read full review »

No other political commentary in Canada like this one. Former political adversaries, now friends, deliver the straight goods without a wiff of punditry. It’s bawdy, funny and completely serious. Listen and learn.

Is it just the polls number giving him energy, or is he stocking Red Bull in his Maserati? When Jenni Byrne left the pod, I was not impressed. I thought, sure, Corey can deliver decently interesting takes from his provincial election win on a one-off basis. But can he consistently get in Scott...Read full review »

Reaching peak advertising with Herle Burly…it’s too bad because it’s the best podcast on Canadian politics hands down.

I’m going to keep listening, David. And keep skipping forward during the ads. Best of luck, and go Cory go!

Ads
I’d pay five bucks a month for an ad-free version (and 25 bucks a month for a Kory-free version).

Long time listener of this great podcast, but never thought I’d hear the Yukon be mentioned. Thrilled to hear us northerners get some recognition in the latest episode. Thank you Herle! I think the natural next step is to get our Premier or MP on The Herle Burly!

I've been listening faithfully for about three years, but lately I've been fast forwarding through what's become a predictable, mean-spirited, roasting of the Liberal government and incredibly assured forecasting of the next election. Love the pod! But my 5-star rating has been recently been cut due to TOO MANY ADS!! Addition of Kory & Jordan has been great. David does an excellent job of staying balanced as a moderator and not acting too partisan. All panelists are partisan but can see the shortcomings in their own party,...Read full review »

I have truly enjoyed this podcast since its inception. Lately I am frustrated with the ever increasing sponsor breaks. For me, the breaks interrupt the flow of the conversation and they seem to be on the increase.

Good discussion and while depressing, you are all correct with regard to legacy media (I am a dinosaur consumer…). Having said that, nobody floated the extortion (of cabinet) angle with regards to Bell and the CRTC network access decision. Secondly, you folks are the PR gurus… does it make sense...Read full review »

This is one of my favourite podcasts. If there is anything that can make Mondays a little more tolerable this is it. The cursed team provides great insight on the topics of the week from across the political spectrum to understand what the @!$* is going on in Canadian politics.

Loving the ride that is being a Cursed fan. The laughter, the absurdity, the vintage pop culture references… what a trip! I first fell in love giggling to Jeni ripping apart O’Toole’s carbon tax amway catalogue between Reid’s memorable Brian “he will have to bomb Godzilla” Mulroney. In fact, I...Read full review »

I listen every week. I get that the panelists need an identity so they chit chat but the Dec 11 edition was too much. Blatant promotion of Kory’s new ad agency and the smothering insider view of social events. Ease up.
