Not up to audiochuck standards
I’ve been a loyal audiochuck listener for years, enjoying almost every single podcast they produce. This one is downright boring to the point where I found myself distracted and having to rewind within episode one just to replay the same thing over so I’d pay attention. The male host is probably a reputable investigative journalist but his podcasting skills fall flat. He is monotone, unenthusiastic, and his commentary where he pretends like he doesn’t know the evidence/story when the female host presents it to us is just laughable. I made it to the end of episode 2. Do not recommend. Stick with crime junkie, solvable, or park predators if you’re after true crime.

It’s an ok podcast. The last few episodes definitely contain the best content. I feel like the first 5 or 6 episodes could have been condensed into 3 episodes or maybe less. Not really sure why Ben is apart of this. He randomly contributes overly obvious useless banter in a wormy voice.

Great story, great reporting and great chemistry from the hosts. Really enjoyed all episodes. Sound editing and music are also very high quality. Looking forward for following seasons. Thanks a lot!

I could not stop listening to this podcast. If you like Making a Murderer or Serial, this podcast is for you. It's an intriguing story that I had never heard before. I cannot believe our Justice system sometimes; it's astounding.Read full review »
