Almost finished with season 3. The investigative journalism in this podcast is top notch. I have really enjoyed every season, but I also get very frustrated at the injustice and corruption that gets exposed in each one. In season 1, I feel like, at the very least, there was way too much...Read full review »

The first two seasons were fantastic. Bailed a few episodes into season 3- it just had no energy.

What an amazing story of lost history and honoring the lives of those who have suffered

Season 3 is so drawn out with no clear conclusion. Main character has a dodgy past which they only mention at the end, and making him out as a hero for the first 3/4 of the podcast. Boring.

Ahhh…LAPD, really needs help at least back in the 90s. It could have been a hired hit, which used gang members…easy story to build a case on.

Anyone thought that the perpetrator used double gloves? Inner glove and outer glove which was Robin Cho’s? He did have enemies because of the fraud and all the people affected. He went unpunished for that and many people left bankrupt. They pieces left were on purpose. The person knew that. As to...Read full review »

I’m a big fan of audio Chuck from way back when, and I’ve listen to all the seasons on this as well. But it did shocked me when I read “the killing fields” my parents are also survivors of the Khmer Rouge and I can’t wait to get into this story. It will hit home, listening to all my parents...Read full review »

This was a well researched and nicely produced podcast. I appreciate that they were candid and shared information even when it did not support one of their theories. I hope that one day we see Justice for this forgotten mother and son.

Season 2 was such a heartbreaking case…seems as though it could easily be solved. My heart breaks for those caught up in the systems of oppression that keep women and children like this in the shadows. Grateful for all the brave witnesses that decided to talk to the reporters. They may be the...Read full review »

There’s a moment later in the season where they discuss whether they think he was wrongfully convicted or not and from the beginning it was painfully obvious what they thought. Love this podcast. Especially loved the NJ season since I live minutes away, and my work office is close to the main suspect’s place of employment. Shockingly I don’t remember hearing of this case in the news. Looking forward to 2024 season.

Talk about milking the moment for all you can 🙄! Making the audience wait for the next episode then dragging it out over an ad break. Then fluffing it out with bs. Approx 15 min into the episode we finally got the dna results. 🤬Tsk. No more. Am deleting your podcast.

Culturally intriguing, deeply sought out investigation reporting, emotional charged… best true crime podcast yet.

Must listen!! Not only do I love their voices, which is important to me, but their reporting is great! Sad story but they are telling it beautifully. Highly recommend!!!

Both seasons are so good. But season 2 had me frustrated to no end. With the police and prosecutors. Shame on them. This is solvable but they don’t care. Keep putting pressure on them. I believe justice will prevail in the end. You do an amazing job with this podcast!

True crime is my favorite genre but these hosts sound like they’re being forced to do this show against their will. If you like low energy hosts who sound like they’re just reading off an unfamiliar script then this is the show for you!

I listened to the second season, so my comment only applies to that. This podcast had potential, but it dragged the story out for way more episodes than it needed to. I also don’t know I agree with the journalistic approach in some cases. It seems people were ambushed and recorded against their...Read full review »

The hosts act as if they showed for work this morning and were just handed the season 2 case to work on. There isn’t any sense that they have done any pre work on the story or tried to make earnest connections with the victims family or LE.

My family immigrated to Miami, Fl from Cuba in 1963. 60 years later Miami is very different since it has a huge Hispanic population and I will say I have become very Americanized. Great podcast, not your typical true crime podcast. Great story telling with detailed research. They do a great job of telling all sides of the story, will keep you guessing!

Season 1 was…ok. The narration, however, was very difficult to listen to in my opinion. I understand podcasts are mostly scripted, but the “acting” of the conversations between the narrators and the presenting of the information just seemed so fake and unnatural.

(Spoilers) the only evidence that they present as “evidence” of his “innocence” is that people say he “seems like he’s a nice guy who couldn’t do it”. They never take on any of the prosecution’s evidence! Bullets? Gloves? Son not defending his father on the stand? Hairs found? Agenda page is...Read full review »

Was recommended season 2 by another true crime podcast. I didn’t think I’d get so hooked I end up binging the whole season! Defiantly one of those stories you just can’t stop think about.

I like it but the episodes are too short and even then they’re filled with a really annoying editing thing where they repeat information we just heard by an original source like it was gossip or something. I have to agree with the reviews the cold calling just seems a bit bizarre for me and just a bit sensational, kind of like a Jerry Springer show where they kind of just ask you questions at the drop of a hat and just see how you react I definitely feel that it would be so much better if they were...Read full review »
